Jess Rona is the most influential groomer today, having built a cult-like following on social media with her signature musical slow-mo blowout videos and her impressive celebrity clientele.

Jess spent her 20s and 30s grooming dogs during the day, and doing improv at night. Now her two worlds are colliding in a multi-dimensional grooming empire. She is known as an award winning groomer & instructor, a content creator, and comedian.

Several brands have tapped Jess to promote and create original content including Apple, Valentino, Paul Mitchell, Bissell, The Standard Hotel, Ouai, Outdoor Voices, The Hoxton Hotels, Kove, Casper, and more.

“If there were an award for best slow motion music video of fashionably groomed dogs on Instagram, Jess Rona would win it, hands down.”
-Hollywood Reporter

Jess has directed commercials and a music video for Tegan & Sara. She’s also guest starred on shows like New Girl, Drunk History and One Mississippi. She is also executive producer and star of the most adorable competition series of all time: Haute Dog on HBOMax, inspired by Jess's life and brand.

When she's not creating poodle content, you can find her at her flagship brick and mortar in Larchmont Village in Los Angeles or snuggling with husband- actor Eric Edelstein and their two rescue pups.

Meet The Team

The unique team that brings it all to life.

Born and raised in the valley, Brooke is a patient and loving member of JRG and has been grooming since 2014. She loves to groom anything floofy and doodly, and has a soft spot for senior pups. Her main priority above all else is assuring that the pups are comfortable and happy. Her grooming style is inspired by groomers in Japan, Korea, and of course by Jess Rona’s very own cute face blueprint. She is a mom to her Lhasa-apso Poodle, Sushi, and her Malti-poo, Leia. With love and passion for art and grooming, Alyssa put the two together in 2015, where she now takes grooming to the next level with grooming competitions. She specializes in doodles and poodles or any curly coated breed. When she is not grooming, She loves spending her time playing Fortnite and attending concerts. William Liermann is a bather that has been working with Jess since 2010. Will treats every dog as his own. Combining his love for dogs with his relentless work ethic, eye for detail and patience, he strives to give dogs the best experience he can. He’s also a skilled drummer of 30 years, and has toured all over the world. To see Will’s work, check him out on Instagram @Jay_The_Bather

Amanda (aka “Andy”) began her career in 2017, learning to groom with both corporate and mobile companies, and has now been with JRG since June 2022. Her current goal is to groom competitively, and to one day become a National Certified Master Groomer. Originally planning to be a crime scene photographer, she earned a BA in Photography and a CSI certification. As much as she loved that field, though, she turned her creative eye towards making dogs look cute, a wise move for her sanity. She’s a proud pet parent of her standard poodle Mia, as well as two cats and five chickens. To see Amanda’s work, check her out on Instagram @andythegroomer

Raven is a compassionate member of JRG who started their grooming journey in 2021. Their love for grooming comes from the joy they receive when a dog is clean, well taken care of and looking stylish. Raven is very passionate about cuteness and comfort and loves to help pups achieve peak well being and confidence! They especially have a soft spot for any babes with silly or awkward personalities. To see Raven’s work, check them out on Instagram @ravengroomsdogs

Amanda is a Certified Dog Trainer through Animal Behavior College. During the week, you can find her in the Brentwood mountains hiking a pack of dogs or doing private training sessions. She also enjoys sharing stories of owners and their pups through photography. Amanda has a rescue mix, Rockwell. If she ever got another dog, she’d probably find a rescue Chinese Crested as they are one of her favorite breeds. As a bather for JRG, Amanda enjoys paying close attention to detail and ensuring your pup is smelling fresh and looking lovely, while aiming to provide a calm and comforting aura. Hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, Lilly discovered she could combine her love of working with dogs and creative personality to have a fulfilling career as a dog groomer. She moved to Los Angeles in early 2024 to make her grooming dreams a reality and enjoys the constant education she gets working at JRG. Lilly finds nothing more satisfying than building trusting relationships with adorable pups and their parents to help them look and feel great!

Making a triumphant return after a long maternity leave, Bailey has returned behind the scenes to help with all things scheduling and client relations. She also runs our Dental Days. She misses the front desk, kissing all the dogs on the lips, and hopes to see you again soon!

Zoey has been obsessed with dogs since the day she popped out of the womb (which is March 20, if you’d like to get her a gift. No pressure.) After majoring in Television, Radio, and Film from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, she headed out to LA to pursue her dream of finding a way to combine film and dogs, landing her a spot as Jess Rona’s Social Media Manager in March of 2022. She’s been editing Jess’ videos and loving on your dogs ever since.

Nicknamed "King Collie Dog" by his family, Colin has been a dog lover all his life. After fighting in the trenches as an assistant in LA for many years, Colin finally found his way to JRG in 2022 and it was love at first sight. When he's not busy helping Jess make the world a cozier place, you can find him writing screenplays at his Valley Village home, or noshing on his latest culinary fixation (because, let's be real, food is his love language). So next time you drop your dog off at the salon, say hi and bring him a donut!

Likes: Long walks, Columbo reruns, sniffing, tug of war

Dislikes: Knocking, cats, squirrels,

There’s never been a more perfect dog who has never made one single mistake.

Meemu Rona Edelstein is the shop manager, he oversees the staff and decides who gets to go on lunch. (It depends on who has a bite or two for him). Despite his gambling problems of the past, we trust him to run the desk solely because he is a master at delegating. He will get you to do pretty much anything. And if you have cheese in your hand, you can get him to do anything as well.
